Travelbird Logo

Travelbird is the name of a blog I created in 2009 to document a trip to Brazil for friends and family. Recently, I decided to revisit some older projects and update them for modern times. This logo is one of the results of that. Toucans are one of many native species of colorful birds in Brazil. I created this logo using an apostrophe from a bulkier typeface, linking the design to the long form style writing in the blog. The typeface is a clean serif font that also makes the link to a literary piece.
