Series: Not so Distant

As we continue to put barriers of safety up, on our bodies, between others, and even geographically, we are still staying connected. There are so many people sacrificing their lives to ensure that others are taken care of at this time and I want to depict these heroes. In this series, I am creating a variety of illustrations depicting healthcare professionals, essential workers, and everyday citizens in situations where they are putting up these temporary barriers for the protection of the ones they love.
