I was tasked with naming and branding software that is currently in development for a hog genetics company. Consistency with the company's existing mark was something I wanted to maintain but not overdone. I used a paper type approach here with lines (records) and an eye for a period on the hog. Also a paper fold doubles as the pigs ear.

The term swine is often used in this industry and is used appropriately. I added the pigtail which is similar to the one from the company logo found here
