Iridescent Letter E

A couple of days ago I did a quick sketch of the letter E on the iPad. While I was thinking about the color treatment for the symbol, I came across the amazing work of @mnaumandesign and I felt like I had no idea were to start. Despite of it, I tried to replicate the effect and aesthetic without any tutorial or help; my resources, logic and photoshop.

Studying light over iridescent surfaces and how those spectrums can be simulated with digital tools like photoshop was hard but oh, so fun!

This exercise took about 6.5 hours to complete.
