YSDN - Building Blocks Motion Graphic

A little throwback to my days on the YSDN 2017 Branding Team!

As a Brand Specialist, I collaborated with an incredible group of classmates to develop an identity for our graduate showcase.

Among the many ideas that were proposed, one of the ones that I pitched revolved around the concept of building blocks. I explained that our program - and design as a whole - could be viewed as an array of functional pieces, that each student could pick from to build their own career path. At the same time, we ourselves could be seen as building blocks of the program - a diverse group of individuals with varying backgrounds and skills, coming together in many different ways to learn and produce high-quality design work.

The logo was created in Illustrator, while the motion was designed in After Effects.
