Host Promotions

We made it easier for Hosts (those sharing their cars) to show their love to previous Guests (those using the cars) in the marketplace, and incentivize repeat bookings within their community of past drivers. Now, when a Host reviews a Guest highly at the end of a trip, they have the option to give them a promo code for a discount on a future trip.

This was a project that could have added more noise and friction to a pretty focused user flow—instead, working with the talented Product Design lead on the project @israelnevarez and a stellar cast of cross-functional peers, I love how simple the solution we landed on became.
