"Work From Home Essentials" illustration
A personal project I did over the weekend. (scroll through to see process). I wanted to illustrate some of my essentials for staying sane while working from home. I've been freelancing full time as a designer and illustrator for almost 5 years now and have learned how important it is to balance work and home life!
Running/working out is definitely one of the main things that makes or breaks my overall mental health (whether I've been consistent with working out, or have gotten lazy and fallen behind) and I try to work out 5x a week. A favorite drink (coffee, tea, sparkling water, etc) add some comfort and caffeine to my day, and plants and nature inspired artwork keeps me daydreaming about travel and past adventures. Oh, and the occasional Netflix binge in the background while I hunker down and work on illustrations is always nice, too :).
