CCI - Rebrand
As we begin to design their UI, I had the following conversation with the CEO (more or less):
Me: While I'm designing your UX and UI, you have to let me change your logo. It's terrible. CEO: You're the one who designed it. Me: Me? CEO: Yup. Me: Oh god. You have to let me fix it.
Here's my first attempt (on the right).
CCI is a medtech company that is focused on moving secured patient data around a network. I wanted the design to say "medicine in motion". I think this is headed in the right direction.
I also want to move them away from Futura. Don't get me wrong, I love Futura. Easily Top 10 Typefaces of All Time for me. But after 93 years of constant use, it's time to let it go.
Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
