Comet - Prop Design and Construction

I used to do a lot of prop design and back in my L.A. days. It was a lot of fun reading through a script and translating the words into AI files.

These hero props are from the 2014 film, "Comet". This was Sam Esmail's first film (just before "Mr. Robot"), and the budget was tight, but you wouldn't know that watching the film. Sam has this surrealist-adjacent aesthetic, which translates to cool visuals and provided opportunities to stretch myself creatively.

I totally recommend watching this beautiful little film. Keep an eye out for my hero props!
