Healthx: Web Motion Art Direction
We don’t always make a detailed concept video, but when we do, we call it “Web Motion Art Direction.”
In order to bring the website storyline full circle and visualize its definitive look and feel before we hand over our designs to the developers, we composed all the design and branding elements into this video. Page transition typography animations, visual content animations, reveals, hovers… all of them.
Even though it might seem like quite a bit of unnecessary work, this concept video proved to be invaluable as a definitive quality benchmark, as well as a clearly legible roadmap. It allowed us to showcase exactly how the website should behave in its final form, eliminating all levels of esoteric abstraction and bolting it down to a rock-solid blueprint for the front-end developers.
Art with form and function. Awesome, right?
