Google TV Social App

A peer at Google approached me for a special UX project on how to design a social media app that focuses on tv recommendations given the popularity of streaming services.

After reviewing preliminary research that her small team did, I set off to test their hypothesis about what users would be interested in for this app. We came to the conclusion that friends (users) wanted a way to explore, discover, and share tv and movie related finds. They also wanted an app that would be updated with a systematic frequency that wouldn't be too overwhelming. The above mockups incorporate what we learned through the process and are what my clients at Google used for their MVP of this project.
