I was approached by the publisher to design a tablet-based Android application that would app comprehensive English assessments for Grades 1 to 6 based on their popular print series. Students would be tested on English grammar, writing, and speaking through a variety of input methods. The assessment results, which would be catalogued and stored in a database for easy reference and emailed from within the app - includes MP3 recordings of the speaking section and PNG graphic files of the writing.
