Second Guessing - Album Art & Illustration Screenprint

Second Guessing's new EP 'Tijd Verdringt' covers themes such as loss of a loved one, mental instabillity and recovery, written and recorded through a very witheld and internal lens. Metaphorically rich, 'Tijd Verdringt' references things such as Dutch architecture, the functions of the human body and more, to articulate the negatives and positives of personal experiences/struggles that are otherwise difficult to express.

On side B of the 12" you will not find any music, but a screen printed illustration of a top view into an 19th century bunker, which is falling apart. It's a large open hole, with multiple dark entrances that lead to places unknown to the observer.

The brutalist collage artwork has been created by Allan Gardner, a Scottish artist and writer currently based in London, United Kingdom. The combination of hard shapes and contrasting textures and colours illustrate the internal anxieties and struggles of the themes that Second Guessing covers on 'Tijd Verdringt'.
