Passing time feels numb

How do I express the way I feel about the 'passing time' during this pandemic than this juxtaposition? I feel like I'm constantly waiting for someone to turn off the ceiling fan and say it's time to step out. I regret taking freedom for granted in this pandemic. May we all get through this pandemic soon, with health!
