Vox Type Categories 3/3

This is an example spread from a booklet that presents each category of the Vox Type Classification System. After the table of contents and colophon, each page — using the above layout — includes the category (i.e. Didone), a token typeface of that category, a large view of an upper and lowercase letterform, the creator of the typeface, and a pangram.

The emphasis for this project came down to the typeface. By using recognizable and well-known typefaces as the focal point, the viewer can apply their previous knowledge of these typefaces and use it to build an understanding of what the respective category means.
