mdbd.

If I were to have a clothing/sneaker/fashion brand, one of my ideas is mdbd. A company centered around gradient tones of different shades and eco-friendly practices. Recycled cotton, plant based dyes, reclaimed plastics, bamboo fibers, etc. Pronounced "mood board", mdbd. is my conceptual fashion brand that takes everything I love about art and allows it to become wearable. A mood board is "an arrangement of images, materials, pieces of text, etc. intended to evoke or project a particular style or concept." Essentially, a mood board is what drives projects, but what if the project is the brand? It would always be evolving and that what a good brand is. My logo for mdbd. incorporates a gradient of squares that overlap to portray how mood boards are connected but but comprised of different elements. I then chose this typeface because of the look of the "d" and "b"; I like the way that they are tall and the way the bowl and counter of the "b" and "d" are balanced.
