St. Paul & the Broken Bones Gig Poster

When I first saw St. Paul & the Broken Bones perform an NPR Tiny Desk concert, I just knew I had to be a part of their magic. If you haven’t had the pleasure of listening to them yet, might I suggest starting with the song “Don’t Mean a Thing” and if you’re not hooked by then, I don’t know what else to tell ya.

This gig poster was a ton of fun designing. It is based off of my favorite track “Like A Mighty River” on the debut album Half the City.

I thought it would be really fun to have all the lyrics from the track front and center on the poster, highlighting a great verse - “You are just a tired girl” something I feel more often than I’d like to admit…
