ChainGain :: App design

This app has been imagined and created in 48 hours as an entrance exam for the Codaisseur Coding Academy and their UX Design Academy. The mission was to create an app solution for a problem of traffic congestion on the roads of the Netherlands.

During the research I discovered that, in the last 10 years, a number of car companies have been testing the platooning technology, especially on trucks. This looked like a perfect link between our present-day driving habits and the future of autonomous driving network. Imagining that the present technology already included in the modern cars could with very little change achieve platooning on the highways, I ran with that idea.

ChainGain is an app designed to make platooning available for the modern vehicles on the highways. It searches for the fastest travel route and handles entering and leaving the chain of cars. You can find more detailed product breakdown on my portfolio - Zonwrk:: ChainGain.
