Shopkeeper Snake

This is one of a series of illustrations I did for Winston Circle eyewear. They wanted to create a fairly tale featuring various animals explaining how their company works, which became a really fun project.

It tells the story of a beaver wandering into a town full of animals with old, broken or ugly glasses who can't afford to get new ones. The beaver devises and elegant solution, and thus, the eyes of the forest are saved. Hoo-rah!

This guy is the Snake who owns the local eyewear shop. He charges unreasonable prices, but he's just following orders. I'll be posting a few more of these in the future. Let me know what you think.
