Rejected Mark

Hi Dribbble, long time no see. Hope this finds you well. I've been working and learning a lot over the last few months. Since I graduated college in August of 2019 my internship hired me full-time and I've been neck deep in all types of great projects.

Here we have a rejected mark for a local Nashville council who's known for bringing professional sports to our great city in the late 80's / early 90's and continues to put on great events to positively impact the economy and quality of life here in Nashville. I used the torch as the primary symbol because 1) it's a universal symbol for all sports 2) the council was the torch bearers leading the way for professional sports to live in Nashville 3) Nashville is known as the Athens of the South. Now I know that's a lot of ideas all rolled into one but I thought it all worked hand in hand. In the end they went in another direction by my good friend Dom Granda.

Oh, did you see the N in the flame? Not sure how obvious / not obvious it was. Tried to keep it subtle.

Hope you're all well during these crazy times. I'll try to check in more often.

Love.
