Old vs New RTSA logo

In my quest to improve the RTSA logo I made sure I did the following:
- Remove unnecessary elements. I understand they do a lot of print jobs and having a clustered logo would distort it’s meaning on small prints like pens, jerseys, driver's licenses, T-shirts etc
- I made the overall look consistent & cohesive
- I made the new mark bold by giving it a typeface full of character and a darker shade of the colour yellow (live)
- Make it consistent & cohesive
- I decided to maintain the triangle and remove the other elements because I figured it predominant & symbolic

Let me know what you think? How else would you improve it?
