Dalry 2020 - Fake Olympics - Ident

A 2-day design exercise to create an Olympic Game bid for 2020, since Tokyo is postponed.

Developed into a retro inspired theme for my old hometown, inspired by it being out-of-date, but painting it as a positive. Using the tagline "Escape 2020 to where it's still the 80's" pulls the branding together.

Also developed into having a limited budget, so the events are scaled back to use what would be available, like envelopes and barrels.

Made an ident inspired by VHS degraded effects, using tutorials as a basis.
