Daily UI, Day 3 – Landing Page

Day 3 asked for a landing page, and I'm continuing with my COVID19-inspired designs. The landing page is a mock company called Amball that sells pomanders with a variety of scents direct to your house. The logo was inspired by the shape of an orange cut by cloves, but also reminds me of medieval iconography as well.

What's a pomander, you ask? The pomander is an orange poked with cloves and releases a light citrus-y spicy aroma since the cloves act as little ports for the zest to come out. The pomander was used during the black plague as a way to ward off the unpleasant smell during this time. Pretty sure it was unsuccessful, but it was worth a shot.
