DROBAY Waterfront Development

The current project examines a potential waterfront development for the small port town of Drobeta-Turnu Severin - my childhood home. The rendering moves up along the coast of the Danube, showing the blend of different urban planning areas all encapsulated within the same route, as it seeks to strike balance between economic growth, sustainable development, existing wildlife ecosystems, and residential activites.

The projects aims to hold and encourage all typologies of businesses and to increase tourism while at the same time generating a higher quality of life for the town’s residents through its sustainable flourishment at the macro level. The project also aims to preserve its unique Danubian fauna and flora given the towns’ proximity to a natural reservation of unique species.
