Icon Craftsmanship

In my process of shifting my career from Architecture towards UI / UX Design, an important factor in my initial informal process was that of attaining an eye for its proportions, following patterns and understanding the weight a single icon can hold - I had started crafting them by hand before moving on to more sophisticated tools. My goal and mission was to better learn how visual marks can be distinguished from one another and how one might learn to craft unique elements to better fit contextual requirements.
