How might we use PayTM wallet in replacement of metro cards?

As of April 2020, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad have started offering QR based access to few stations. This gives a chance to ditch the metro card system and opt for a digital payment system offered by PayTM. Additionally, this would eliminate the time of waiting in line to buy a metro card, touching a dirty machine to do it, the potential of losing the metro card.
