Judas Betraying Jesus

I created this illustration for Holy Wednesday (also known as Good Wednesday or Spy Wednesday) for Holy Week. This day of the Passion week typically observes Judas' betrayal of Jesus, when he agreed to hand him over to the religious leaders for thirty pieces of silver. The coins are smudged with blood, and eventually turn into blood as they reach Judas' hands.
