Didot Typeface Poster

This typeface poster was created to recognize Didot's significance. Didot is closely related to high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent). Magazines (Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle) popularized this typeface. What sets Didot apart from other typefaces is its high contrast, vertical axis, extremely fine (non-bracketed) “hairline” serifs, teardrop terminals, and small aperture. My goal was to display Didot in a classic and formal way.
