Early Forks Forest Farm logos

Hope everyone's hanging in there 💚

Some good news in my life amongst this global crisis is that my partner, Valerie, and I are moving from Richmond up to the Winchester, VA area where I'm starting a small farm. We've settled on the name Early Forks Forest Farm, and I'm excited about where the brand is headed, visually!

Right now, we're producing log grown shiitake mushrooms outdoors in the forest. The illustration work for the logo is by Valerie Burgess (@sister_plant)—a hand holding a shiitake mushroom and some paw paw leaves & blossom (a nod to the nearby town of Paw Paw, WV: a town so nice, they named it twice.). Valerie's working on some more illustrations that we'll weave through this brand as the farm grows (literally and figuratively).
