Ratcliffe font

My 36 characters for this year's 36 Days of Type.

It's based on a number font I made several years ago for a signage graphic design brief. The numbers where designed as house numbers in a street of railway cottages. I took inspiration from the shape of railway tracks for the "straight" sections, and train wheels for the round parts. I always meant to add the letters as well, but never did until now.

The letters were created in Illustrator, but I am now creating a real font with Glyphs Mini. The plan is to add two more weights. Eventually.
