RJ Hampton | Athlete Brand Identity

ProInitiative LLC approached me a while back with the opportunity to craft the brand identity for rising basketball star, RJ Hampton. At the intersection of sport, design, and the athlete, I was excited to team up and the result was a single monogram based logo that lays a foundation for expansion into a larger brand system in the years to come.

Early in his high-school career, RJ was ranked as the #1 recruit of his 2020 class and his rise in the basketball world gave a strong incentive for him to pair his persona with a concrete visual. Ultimately, RJ opted to forgo NCAA ball and play professionally for the New Zealand Breakers of the NBL in preparation for his jump to the NBA in this year's upcoming draft.
