SCAN IF YOU CAN - mobile application with Augmented Reality.

The application was made especially for the Ivano-Frankivsk workshop "Scan IF You Can," within the festival "Urban Scan Session." The main function of the app - the reproduction of famous city architectural elements in Augmented Reality.

Ivano-Frankivsk city attractions were scanned by festival participants using photogrammetry technology. All scans were post-processed on the laptops using special software and transformed into 3D models. Then, in the city center, were installed several presentation desks with special marks. All pedestrians were able to scan those marks and see real city attractions on their phones.

The key feature of photogrammetry - that as a result, you have a real object, not computer graphics. Such effect is achieved by using photographs rather than computer textures.
