A files app is not just a pool of files
– it is all about the hierarchy of files and folders. Exactly that should be the interface. That’s why the new Files app features a path bar as the single interface to navigate through your files. It’s elegantly streamlined and super simple, yet very effective.
The path bar shows the subfolders you opened and lets you quickly jump back to any of the previous hierarchy levels. And because it’s at the bottom of the screen, it’s easily accessible with your thumb.
