Himalyan Saga #mytinystories

Being from a small coastal town of Kerala, she has always been fascinated with mountains and thus with the stories from hills. She was just twelve years old when she read a book with stories from the hills for the first time. The name of the author was ‘Ruskin Bond’ and she started to explore more books from him. His stories on nature, encounters with the ghosts and rogues, escapades to mystical Himalayan places, life on Mussoorie, etc. have made win her heart.
It was her dream to meet the man who is well endowed with powerful imagination and endless wit, and it happened after fourteen years.
On a monsoon evening she reached Landour, using savings from her first jobs, and met the writer on the hills. Mr. Bond was sitting by the fireplace, admiring the beauty of majestic Himalays through the big window of the room on the roof. She had a chai with him and got an autograph on his latest book.
After the meeting she decided two things; to live the rest of her life in the mountains and start a cafe somewhere in Mussoorie.
Now she is the young entrepreneur in the valley, the girl with Himachal topi, running a cafe in the foothills of the Garhwal which serves authentic Himalayan dishes.
