National Camp at Home Day

When quarantine safety guidelines went into effect, our tiny team at Kammok found ourselves having to adapt very fast. For a company created to encourage people to spend time together, we suddenly had to figure out how we live out our core values of community, adventure, and love within the rightful precautions of quarantine.

So what do we do? We stay home! National Camp at Home Day was declared , and shared all over social media. Sure this design isn't the most perfect it could be...but I'm so proud of our team's ability to see a need in our community and move towards it instead of away. The response we got was incredible.

I know you're cooped up just as much as I've been. Remember that life is still happening. Rhythms are on pause, they look different, but people are still getting older and time passes just the same as it did in January. Hang a hammock in your backyard, take a zoom call from a pillow fort, take a walk with a friend on opposites side of a street.

I believe that spending time outside is more important than ever. It looks a lot different, it's likely not as pretty, but that green grass has never looked as green as it does now eh? Make a plan, call a friend, BE SAFE.....but don't forget that you exist to make the world a better place.
