PLCC Marketing Platform for Business Partners
DESCRIPTION:
A major bank was looking for a concept to help assist with their process when serving merchants with Private Label Credit Cards. The process was typically done manually and could take up to 13 months to complete the process from start to finish.
MULTIPLE ESCALATIONS:
This project was slated for 8 weeks and was under a very tight SOW. The original lead did not understand the importance of their role by sitting in on meetings to understand the current business process and, in turn, work with the business development team to come up with a solution(s) to streamline the process. After 2 weeks, a new UX/UI lead was put into place to get the project back on track, however, immediately escalated that he did not see it being done in a solo capacity.
I brought in a very trusted UX Lead to work alongside the current designer and report back any concerns to me. We quickly realized that I had to be an active contributor & coordinate efforts with other designers that were free here and there considering we had to makeup lost ground for 3.5-4 weeks being lost with nothing to show for.
OUTCOME:
The final presentation where I pitched included three major systems that took into account multiple pain points and provided automated processes that required little manpower by either the client or their merchants in obtaining a PLCC. The presentation of our solutions landed my company a long term engagement with the client.
