    '3' for 36DoT

    I'm exploring the relationship between blackletters inspired letterforms and other styles, mixing them to create a new balanced and contrasted shape. Here it was a bit of a challenge because the 3 I created was both organic & imposing. So I came up with two ways of treating it.

    The first is by using a strong typeface to complement that aspect of the letter (here I used Eurostile extended). The second variation uses a script typeface, that dances around the 3. Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
