Stranded

This past week I finally opened After Effects for the very first time and spent a few days learning basic animation techniques (via the amazing Motion Design School). Drew up this scene and applied some of the new skills I learned recently to this illustration. AE is a f*cking terrifying beast— but I do love animation and have always wanted to be able to bring my characters/work to life in that way. So I'm just gonna keep practicing!
