Ladykillers Campaign

Working as the Media and Marketing Director for Audacious Theatre, I knew full-well that our Halloween shows were the biggest shows each year. It was crucial that I created an eye-catching ad campaign that was both true to the essence of the show, and could also be differentiated in a sea of event ads and Facebook invites. Studying Victorian print design at the time was perfect for making the aesthetic judgements for this show. The graphic of the skull-faced woman was just horrifying and intriguing enough that it reeled people in. Apparently the poster art was so effective that people were taking them off the street to put on their own walls. The posters, social media, and trading cards made this an extremely effective campaign, and we packed the theatre every single night.
