Nature Badge
Inspired by Disney's Paul Bunyan (1958)

This is a bit of a new illustration style for me. Still quite geometric, but very fun and loaded with character. Things have been crazy lately, so it was nice to get away from it all for a bit and do what I love. Also, if you've never seen the cartoon, please check it out! It is so incredibly gorgeous.

Fun Fact:
Some historians believe Paul Bunyan was based on a real person named Fabian Fournier. He was born in Quebec around 1845 and moved to Michigan to take advantage of the high-paying logging industry. He died in 1875 from a mallet whack to the back of the noggin'.
