Permanent Press

Permanent Press was founded in 1978 by Martin and Judith Shepard. The company is committed to publishing works of social and literary merit and has gained a reputation as one of the finest independent presses in America.

Permanent Press feels that their books have a timeless quality and will always be a rewarding reading experiences. For this reason, they have kept almost all of their titles in print.

The monogram is a straight forward mark depicting two times the letter ‘P’. The mark was kept simple and clear. Made to last, made to be permanent. The wordmark is set up in a traditional font, refering to Permanent Press its existence since 1978.
