Sacred Sauce - Album Cover Art

Album cover art created for Loopacabra, an electronic music producer and DJ based out of Portland, OR.

Inspiration for the cover art of this EP came from a vision the artist had of a shaman presiding over the entrance of an opulent and vast temple with a volcano rising in the distance.

The shaman rising above the temple is clad in the Mayan mask of death and rebirth and rainbow wings of Quetzalcoatl, the Aztec God of death and resurrection. He wears the symbol of Ollin on his chest, the Aztec's calendar sign of transmutation and seismic change.

The artwork incorporates stylized color gradients expressing the psychedelic boarders between our reality and that which lies beyond the veil.
