Essence Candles Branding Project Pt. 1

This is a branding project done for Essence Candles. I wanted to keep the overall look of the brand clean and minimal. I wanted to focus heavily on colour while having a muted and more luxurious palette as they wanted a more higher-end product.

For the logo, I wanted to have a clean typeface and a simple logomark. I used a candle as it best signifies the product that they sell and it’s easily identifiable. For the typeface I used a more stylized sans-serif font as I felt that most companies are either using a standard sans-serif or a more stylized serif. By using a more hybrid font, I felt that it distinguishes the brand from its competitors.
