Pixel Bison Skull
I got jealous of all the communities who had United Pixelworkers art, so I made one for the 406ers art of a bison skull, a symbol used by Montana on our license plates (dating back to the 1930s), our quarter design, etc.
Bison skulls are a powerful symbol to Native Americans, symbolizing Montana values like freedom, strength and prosperity. The skull was also used as a logo of sorts for cowboy artist CM Russell. He drew one on most of his paintings and sketches.
