Distant Retreat

Scene inspired by the Îlot Saint-Michel in the Alps, France, which church stands alone in the middle of a lake. Even as an agnostic I was fascinated by this wonderful landscape when passing by, instinctively calling for contemplation.

Back to experimenting with low poly to capture the essence of the scene, with a little procedural shader on the church as a minimal stone texture.
