Random Restaurant iOS app

Here’s a look at the main project for my masters in Creative digital media & UX, which is available for download now on the App Store.

Random Restaurant is an iOS app that provides the user with the ability to search and discover restaurants that are currently open. However this app has some unique features, for example the restaurants can be filtered according to the user’s individual requirements such as diet restriction, distance, rating, price and preferred food. As the application is used more often over time it will also collect and use the data from restaurants the user has visited, and also restaurants they have favourited. Combining all of this data together the app will be able to suggest a restaurant best suited for the user. If the restaurant selected isn’t what the user is currently in the mood for, they’ll have the functionality to tell the app what they don’t like about the restaurant, for example the type of food served, and it will find a better alternative place to eat. This will put an end to prolonged decision making when choosing a restaurant for dining out.
