In the spirit of supporting local businesses... I’d like to give a shoutout to our friendly local grocer. Even though the thought of grocery shopping is stressful these days, I had an exceptionally pleasant experience last week at Sendik's. For my first venture outside quarantine, I had visions of empty shelves, people shoving each other out of the way for the last package of TP.... but the staff there was working hard keeping all the shelves stocked, it was clean, bright, people were kind and helpful. Plus they were one of the first grocers to implement specific hours for seniors. 👍. So if you need to leave to leave the house.... support local.
