Logo Wave Redesign
So here's the story... When I was approached a couple of months ago by Kyle Courtright, founder of Logo Wave, a famous logo design awards platform, saying "Alen, I would like you to work with me on the new and refreshed Logo Wave visual identity", I have to admit that I was like "John, is that you?! C'mon, you hang up, nah, you hang up... no, you hang up..." But 3 weeks later there it was, in front of us on both screens, Kyle's and mine, the new Logo Wave visual identity solution!
Pretty sure that many of you know about it and the strong jury panel it holds, from Bill Gardner and Alina Wheeler to David Airey and Chris Do, to name a few. So it definitely was and still is a huge honor to be involved in this whole story, grateful for the opportunity and Kyle's constant effort to promote logo design trends and put great designs and designers on the radar.
Because, a great logo will always make a strong "splash" and spread "waves" across the "oceans", which was a core metaphor that inspired us for this concept. Those light blue lines have double function here - besides representing mentioned wave, it also shows communication between "whales", all resulting in this great story of logo design that we are spreading and living every day...
Cheers!
