DAY 3 - Practice good posture
Staying home and especially working from home might be even harming for your body.
Without all the fancy office chairs people tend to work from a sofa or even a bed and that might not be the best idea.
It depends on the fact if you are able to keep good posture while working, especially when sitting.
You might know some basic rules which people should follow when working with the computer - relaxed shoulders, flat feet, ankles in front of knees, knees slightly lower than hips, holding elbows at L-shape, sit up straight, looking forward, avoid straining the neck, set top of the screen at your eye level etc.
Well easy to say, but harder to follow. With this great trick using your two-year toilet paper stockpile you can easily control your posture.
Place a few rolls around your body as you can see on the picture - at lower back position, on your head, to lift your laptop if it is too low.
Hardcore players can even place toilet paper sheets between the body and their elbows.
For "extra fun", don't take paper roll off when standing from your table, going to drink or to the bathroom.
Just keep it there and straighten your posture when walking too. Like when you were kid trying to hold a book on your head.
Are we all set, shall we begin to work?
-
Let me or your journal know how it went today, did you manage to keep the paper in its place, was it too easy, did you put several rolls on your head?
Did you walk all day with toilet paper on your head, looking like an idiot - that's great, I am proud of you.
Don't forget to take a few pictures of yourself.
-
And remember, if you can, stay home. If you have to go out, wear mask, keep 2 meters distance from others.
Don't touch your face, wash your hands carefully. Call your relatives and friends.
Help your elder neighbours if they need to but try to avoid any contact.
