A weekly video where I demo how I make, photograph, and utilize textures within my artwork. Episode 1 explains the basics of my process using the Clipping Mask feature in @photoshop.⁠

I had a lot of fears and reservations about videotaping myself. I must have edited out at least a 100 "umms." But, ultimately, I feel my process of textures and creating is part of my own story as an illustrator. Even though it pushes me outside of my comfort zone, A LOT of things, the last few weeks have pushed everyone outside of their comfort zones. Like way out there. I'm looking at you Coronavirus. You even sound like a lousy frat house drinking game.⁠

All joking aside, I had a lot of fun making this video and look forward to the weeks ahead of more creating, learning, and doing.⁠ Hopefully, it won't feel too far out of my comfort zone for long.⁠
